My child has been seeing Dr. Jim for several years, and in hindsight I probably should have switched providers sooner. Appointments often feel attentive in the moment, but very little meaningful progress ever seems to happen afterward. There have also been two serious conditions that were ultimately identified and addressed by the nurse practitioner rather than Dr. Jim himself as he brushed me off when I talked about them, which was concerning. One thing I really wish this office offered is the ability to review individual providers separately from the practice as a whole. This morning, while I was literally pulling into the driveway for the appointment, I received a call saying Dr. Jim had called in and the appointment needed to be rescheduled. If patients cancel that late, we are charged a cancellation fee. It’s frustrating that there’s no equivalent consideration for the patient’s time, fuel, and schedule disruption. I do want to note that the front desk staff has improved significantly since my last review. The office team now seems much more organized, responsive, and functional, and I appreciate the improvement there.

I have had a wonderful experience here and have been very well cared for. It feels like a private practice (personal, responsive service) but you get the benefits of being within McLaren. Every individual I've worked with there has been top notch. It's an incredibly stressful world where it's easy to fall through the cracks and I truly feel like my care and health is a top priority for the practitioners here. I hope nothing changes with this practice, it's awesome because of the people. I have never had such a group of dedicated professionals working together like this and they have done wonders to restore my faith in "the medical system". 99.9% of it is broken. This practice is in that 0.1% and I'm lucky to have found it.

Doctors are really great but people at the reception are so rude, not customer friendly and don’t pick up that’s crazy. They are really making this facility look bad. I hope you guys really do something about it.

Doctors are great but seems like the people up front can never answer a phone. Trying to get my son in after having a seizure and will not return calls from a message or just simply answer the phone to schedule an appointment. Pretty fed up with this now that’s it has been occurring for months.

I don’t ever leave reviews, but I felt the need to after my experience. The lack of professionalism is promoting gross negligence that can lead to people getting seriously hurt or worse. This place is staffed with people who don’t care about others. I have worked in service jobs before so normally the lack of work ethic doesn’t bother me because service jobs beat you down. However, at a medical establishment I think it’s a requirement to at least be able to communicate with customers seeing as they are patients with medical needs. I had an issue that I needed to contact my doctor about, so I called the center. No answer. I tried calling a couple times and kept getting an automated system asking me to either leave a message or press 1 to hold, the press 1 option didn’t work. After leaving a message the voicemail said they would get back to me in one business day. I left an urgent message saying my doctor told me to reach out if I had any issues. I got no response (to this day I have not been contacted it’s been 4 days). So, I scheduled an appointment through zocdoc for 7:30am. I get there at 7:30am and the door is locked and the lights are off. I’m confused thinking maybe zocdoc
